Central Kentucky Umpires Association

The Central Kentucky Umpires Association trains and assigns umpires for high school varisty and junior varsity baseball games in the 10th and 11th Regions (Lexington area) of Kentucky.  It is sanctioned by the Ky. High School Athletic Association. For information about the CKUA, please contact Barry Follett (president), Bill Bradley (assigning secretary), or Ray Read (assistant assigning secretary). Meetings for 2005 will be at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria of Madison Central High School in Richmond on these dates: Jan. 19, 26, Feb. 9, 23, March 2, 9, 20 (test). The Part II Federation test will be given at 2:00 p.m. on March 20 at Madison Central and 7:00 p.m. on March 23 at Montgomery Co. H.S. The State Rules Clinic for our area is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Feb. 13 at Woodford Co. H.S. in Versailles. On field clinics will be held during scrimmage games on March 9 at Madison Central starting at 4:15 p.m. and March 12 at Dunbar H.S. from 1:00-5:00 p.m. (cancelled due to weather)
